Share
The mid-cycle facelift of the new Nissan Teana has made its debut, focusing on three core upgrades: smart cockpit, powertrain, and exterior design. It enters the fiercely competitive B-segment sedan market through intelligent transformation and localized cooperation.
Smart Cockpit
The smart cockpit is equipped with the HarmonyOS 5.0 system and a 15.6-inch floating central control screen, supporting AI voice interaction and multi-ecosystem applications. Complemented by a 17-speaker audio system, 256-color ambient lighting, and wood grain trim, it also features practical configurations such as a retractable cup holder and 50W wireless fast charging, balancing smooth operation and usability.
Exterior
The exterior adopts a combination of a blacked-out V-shaped grille, through-type light strip, and illuminated brand logo. The Universal Twin-Star LED headlights enhance the sense of technology, while the blacked-out lower bumper and chrome front splitter strengthen the sporty temperament. The sloped-back silhouette is paired with 19-inch wheels, and two new paint colors are added. At the rear, a small ducktail spoiler, optimized through-type taillights, and the "TEANA" emblem echo the brand's heritage. The vehicle dimensions remain unchanged: 4,900mm in length and 2,825mm in wheelbase.
Comfort & Convenience
Comfort configurations have been upgraded. The Spinal ergonomic seats support multi-directional adjustment and comfort functions for both the driver and front passenger, with optimized rear seat angles. The roller-type steering wheel and electronic gear lever ensure convenient operation. NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) optimization and double-layer sound-insulating glass improve cabin quietness.
Powertrain & Pricing
Two powertrain options are available:
- A 2.0L naturally aspirated engine (156 horsepower) mated to a CVT, offering smooth performance and fuel efficiency.
- A 2.0T variable compression ratio engine (243 horsepower), balancing power and fuel consumption.
The powertrain has been market-proven for reliability. The current model starts at 179,800 yuan (inclusive of multiple upgrades), and the official launch price is expected to start at around 190,000 yuan – a reasonable premium. Terminal discounts may be available, making its market performance highly anticipated.
Key Terminology Notes

- NVH: A core automotive engineering index measuring noise, vibration, and harshness, directly affecting ride comfort.
- Variable compression ratio engine: A technology that adjusts the engine's compression ratio (e.g., between 8:1 and 14:1) to optimize power output and fuel economy under different driving conditions.
