Do You Still Remember the Sunny? Would You Recognize It After Two Generations? Real-World Images of the All-New Nissan Versa

Recently, real-world images of the all-new Nissan Versa have been captured overseas. As an entry-level compact car, it was once sold in China under the name "Sunny". However, the previous-generation Versa was not introduced to the Chinese market, and the new-generation model is also likely to miss out on a China launch. The real-world photos taken this time were in Mexico, where the vehicle is presumably being filmed for a commercial.
In terms of exterior design, the all-new Nissan Versa features a split-headlight setup and a split grille design. The upper daytime running lights are connected to a trim panel with the brand logo, while the lower headlights on both sides are linked to the middle grille. There is also an air vent at the bottom of the front bumper, creating an overall three-layer layout. The new car comes with blacked-out exterior trim pieces. From another side angle, the front face appears more vivid and three-dimensional.
On the side of the vehicle, a slanted waistline runs through the entire side. Despite being an economical sedan, it still offers large-size wheels. The extended black trim line on the C-pillar has always been a signature design element of this model. The taillights still bear a resemblance to those of the previous-generation model, with a unique shape, and the left and right taillights are connected by a central trim panel.
No images of the interior have been released yet, but it is expected that the new car will be equipped with an infotainment screen approximately 12.3 inches in size. In terms of powertrain, the new model is projected to carry over the powertrain from the current-generation vehicle, featuring a 1.6L naturally aspirated engine with a maximum power of 124 horsepower and a peak torque of 155 N·m, mated to a CVT continuously variable transmission.
