Dongfeng Fengxing Yacht PHEV Launched with Starting Price of RMB 154,900, Equipped with 1.5T + Single-Motor PHEV System

Recently, we learned from the official source that the Dongfeng Fengxing Yacht PHEV has been officially launched. The new model offers 2 variants, with prices of RMB 154,900 and RMB 159,900 respectively. The Fengxing Yacht PHEV still positions itself as a mid-size MPV and will be equipped with a combination of a 1.5T engine and an electric motor, with a WLTC pure electric range of 92km.

In terms of appearance, the new model remains consistent with the fuel-powered version. The front face still adopts a large spindle-shaped grille design, paired with arrow-shaped headlights, resulting in a very high recognition. In terms of body dimensions, its length, width and height are 4850/1900/1740mm, with a wheelbase of 2900mm. The height is 25mm higher than that of the fuel-powered version. In terms of configuration, the new model comes standard with 18-inch wheels and LED headlights, while the high-end variant provides functions such as adaptive high-low beam headlights and sensor-activated power tailgate.

For the interior, the new model will be equipped with a combination of an 8.8-inch LCD instrument panel and a 14.6-inch central control screen, supporting intelligent voice control and mobile phone connectivity. Both the front seats and the second-row seats support electric adjustment, heating and ventilation, and the rear row is equipped with small folding tables. The third-row seats support backrest adjustment and split-folding. In addition, the high-end variant will also be equipped with an L2-level driving assistance system, including adaptive cruise control, lane centering assist and automatic lane change assist. In terms of power, the new model is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 1.5T engine and an electric motor. The 1.5T engine has a maximum power of 113kW, and the electric motor has a maximum power of 150kW. The transmission system is matched with a single-speed DHT gearbox, and it is equipped with a ternary lithium battery with a capacity of 20.156kWh. The WLTC pure electric range is 92km, and the WLTC fuel consumption under low battery condition is 5.4L/100km.
