Recently, we learned from Geely Auto that the Geely Panda mini Yuanqi Xiong (a model variant) will be launched on April 15th. Compared to the models currently on sale, the Panda mini Yuanqi Xiong features adjustments to its exterior design details and offers a CLTC pure electric driving range of 210 kilometers. It remains positioned as a two-door, four-seat pure electric microcar and is expected to be sold as a new addition to the lineup. For reference, the currently available Geely Panda models offer seven variants with a price range of ¥29,900–¥53,900 RMB (approximately 7,475 USD at an exchange rate of 1 RMB ≈ 0.139 USD).

The charging port is located in the central position at the front of the vehicle.

Based on the real vehicle images, the Geely Panda mini Yuanqi Xiong differs from the models currently on sale. The front of the new car features a more rounded design but continues to adopt a closed front fascia and circular headlight units. Additionally, the headlights are connected by a black trim strip, with the charging port located in the central position, and a newly designed front bumper is incorporated.

The body side of the Geely Panda mini Yuanqi Xiong basically continues the design of the Geely Panda mini Endurance Bear, with the rear side window featuring an irregular shape. Additionally, the car adopts conventional door handles and a two-door design, equipped with 13-inch new-style wheel rims and tires sized 155/70 R13. It will be available in three exterior paint colors: Warm Beige, Bamboo Green, and Puff Pink.

Currently, the official has not yet announced the body dimensions of the Geely Panda mini Yuanqi Xiong, but they are expected to remain unchanged. For reference, the dimensions of the on-sale Panda mini Endurance Bear are 3,065 mm in length, 1,522 mm in width, and 1,600 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,015 mm. It is positioned as a pure electric microcar.

For the rear part of the vehicle, the silhouette of the Geely Panda mini Yuanqi Xiong also continues the style of the Panda mini Endurance Bear, but the rear bumper has been redesigned, with a black rear spoiler added.

For the interior, the design of the Geely Panda mini Yuanqi Xiong remains consistent with the models currently on sale, featuring a floating-type central control screen and a two-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel. Additionally, air conditioning vents and some physical buttons are designed below the central control screen. It is reported that the new car will also be equipped with driver and passenger airbags, a rearview camera, and parking sensors.

Furthermore, the Geely Panda mini Yuanqi Xiong employs a rotary-knob shift mechanism and is equipped with electric window control buttons in the front. The actual vehicle model seen in the photos features integrated front seats, while the rear seats can be folded down in a 50:50 ratio.

Currently, the official has not yet released specific configuration details for this vehicle. For reference, the on-sale Geely Panda models also offer features such as tire pressure monitoring alerts, child seat interfaces, driving mode selections, and a 9.2-inch LCD instrument panel.

In terms of powertrain, the Geely Panda mini Yuanqi Xiong is equipped with a motor with a maximum power output of 30 kW and offers a CLTC pure electric driving range of 210 kilometers. For reference, the models currently on sale provide motors with maximum power outputs of 20 kW and 30 kW, with optional LFP (lithium iron phosphate) battery packs of 9.61 kWh and 17.03 kWh capacities, offering CLTC driving ranges of 120 kilometers, 200 kilometers, and 210 kilometers.
