Recently, Denza released the official images of the Denza N9 Black Warrior Edition and announced that the new model is now available for purchase. The Black Warrior Edition is expected to be launched merely as a new color option, with no change in price. Previously, the Denza N9 has been officially launched, positioned as a large SUV, and offered in two configurations with a guided price range of approximately US55,000toUS63,000 (converted from RMB 389,800 to RMB 449,800 and rounded to the nearest whole number).
In terms of appearance, the new vehicle is coated with all-black paint, and both the front bumper and side decorative panels feature a black design, complemented by blacked-out wheel rims, giving it a menacing "black warrior" look. In other aspects, it remains consistent with the regular version, boasting dimensions of 5258mm in length, 2030mm in width, and 1830mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3125mm.
Inside the vehicle, the new model is equipped with a 12.3-inch LCD instrument cluster, a 17.3-inch central control touchscreen, and a 12.3-inch passenger screen. Additionally, it offers an AR-HUD (Augmented Reality Head-Up Display) and a 17.3-inch rear-seat LCD screen, effectively creating a high-tech ambiance. For interior color options, there are two choices: Platinum Tan Gray and Cloud Brocade Beige. In terms of seating arrangement, it adopts a 2+2+2 six-seat layout and incorporates numerous new features. The driver's seat supports active side bolster adjustment, while the passenger seat is equipped with a zero-gravity queen seat that offers four-way leg rest adjustment.
The two seats in the second row offer even more functionalities. In addition to the common features like heating, ventilation, and massage, they both support 14-way electric adjustment, and 4-way leg rest adjustment, and the seats can be moved left and right. Furthermore, the vehicle is equipped with a three-way opening cooling and heating box that can hold up to 12 bottles of mineral water. Additionally, the car features a Devialet sound system with 26 speakers, complete with rising and lowering speaker towers.
In terms of intelligent driving, it is equipped with the Heaven's Eye B Advanced Intelligent Driving Laser Version (DiPilot 300), which falls into the mid-range category of BYD's intelligent systems and offers end-to-end mapless urban navigation. The hardware includes 1 high-precision LiDAR sensor, 5 millimeter-wave radars covering forward, side, and rear detection, 12 cameras, and 12 ultrasonic radars. The intelligent driving chip is the NVIDIA Orin X, with a computing power of 254 TOPS.
In terms of power, the plug-in hybrid version is equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged engine, delivering a maximum power of 207 horsepower, while the combined power of the three electric motors is 925 horsepower. It offers a CLTC pure electric range of 200km and a combined range of 1302km, with a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 3.9 seconds. The pure electric model, which will be launched later, has a total motor power of 965 horsepower. Additionally, the new vehicle is equipped with the Yi-San-Fang technology and Yun-Nian-A suspension system.
