Recently, the on-site reporting team from Autohome captured real-car images of the iCAR V27 prior to the opening of the Guangzhou Auto Show. The new model is set to make its debut at this year's Guangzhou Auto Show. In terms of size, it is significantly larger than the V23, positioned as a mid-to-large SUV, and adopts an extended-range electric powertrain.
In terms of exterior design, the new car continues the retro "square box" design concept of the V23 while integrating modern design elements. The thick front and rear bumpers as well as the flared wheel arches all highlight the rugged style of this vehicle. The real car features a yellow paint finish, matched with black surrounds around the body, and the rear also adopts a "small backpack" (spare tire mount) design. In terms of dimensions, the new car has a length, width, and height of 4909/1976/1894 mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2910 mm.
Officially defined as a mid-to-large all-round rugged SUV, the vehicle is expected to have excellent off-road capabilities, though it still remains a unibody SUV. A high-end version equipped with a lidar (laser radar) and Horizon Robotics' top-tier chip will also be launched for this model.
For the powertrain, the new car is equipped with a 1.5T extended-range system, where the engine has a maximum power of 115 kW. Both rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive versions will be available, among which the four-wheel drive version is expected to have a maximum power of 335 kW. The maximum CLTC pure electric range is 200 km, and the comprehensive range is expected to exceed 1,000 km.
