On February 3rd, more real-car images of the new Avatr 12, a mid-to-large sedan under Avatr, were exposed. As a model year facelift, it has undergone detailed adjustments and upgrades, with its starting price projected to reach approximately 300,000 to 320,000 RMB. For reference, the current model is priced in the range of 269,900 to 700,000 RMB.
Judging from the previously released real-car images, the vehicle still adheres to the overall design concept of "Future Elegance". It features a butterfly-wing front face, a closed front grille paired with 7-shaped lamp clusters on both sides, exuding a strong sense of futurism. Meanwhile, according to official sources, the new Avatr 12 has achieved an all-round upgrade in design, power, handling and intelligent driving. Boasting sleek body lines and a fastback design, the Avatr 12 looks more dynamic and stylish, without the clumsiness typical of traditional mid-to-large cars. Its muscular fenders and large-size rims highlight the vehicle's sporty stance. At the rear, it is equipped with an active liftable spoiler that enhances its sporty appeal. In terms of the interior, the overall layout remains largely the same as the current model, with expected upgrades to its configurations.
To briefly recap, the interior adopts the Gentle Tech minimalist design concept, featuring a 35.4-inch 4K panoramic wide screen in the cockpit and a 15.6-inch central control screen on the center console, delivering a remarkable sense of technology. In terms of power, the vehicle comes in both extended-range and pure electric versions. The extended-range version is equipped with a 1.5T range extender with a maximum power of 115 kW, and its drive system adopts a rear dual-motor setup with a peak power of 200 kW/200 kW (rear left/rear right).
The pure electric version is available in two power variants: one is a rear-wheel drive model with a rear dual-motor, boasting a peak power of 251 kW/251 kW (rear left/rear right); the other is an all-wheel drive tri-motor version with a front single motor and rear dual motors, with a peak power of 210 kW/251 kW/251 kW (front/rear left/rear right).
In addition, the declaration information from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) also reveals details about the battery and range of the extended-range version. The model with the product code SC7150AABB6HEV will be fitted with a 52.01 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack, delivering a driving range of 261 km under the WLTC cycle. We will keep following up for more updates about the vehicle.
