The Tank 500 Hi4-T, a mid-to-large-sized luxury off-road new energy SUV under GWM's Tank brand, is the first mass-produced model based on the Hi4-T off-road super hybrid architecture. Equipped with a plug-in hybrid system comprising a 2.0T engine and a longitudinal 9HAT transmission, it delivers a combined system power of 300kW and a torque of 750N·m, achieving a zero-to-hundred acceleration time of just 6.9 seconds, outperforming its 3.0T fuel-powered counterpart. The vehicle is fitted with a 37.1 kWh battery and a 70 L fuel tank, offering a 110km pure electric range and a 790km comprehensive range, while supporting50 kWW fast charging for a 30%-80% charge in 24 minutes. It also features a 3.3kW external power supply function to meet outdoor camping and other electricity needs.

In terms of off-road performance, the Tank 500 Hi4-T adopts a body-on-frame structure and an intelligent four-wheel drive system with M-lock, enabling seamless torque switching between the front and rear axles from 0% to 100% via TOD and drive shafts. It is equipped with three mechanical differential locks, an all-terrain control system, and d tank turning function, with an approach angle of 29.5°, a departure angle of 24°, and a minimum ground clearance of 213mm, allowing it to easily navigate through muddy, gravelly, and other complex terrains. Its oil-electric parallel mode intelligently switches according to scenarios, prioritizing electric power for urban commuting for energy efficiency and environmental protection, combining oil and electricity for maximum efficiency on highways and long-distance travel, and relying mainly on oil to ensure sustained power during off-road adventures, with the electric motor providing bursts of power during critical moments such as starting and getting out of trouble.

The interior features NAPPA leather seats, wooden trim, and a 7-inch rear armrest screen, along with ventilated/heated/massaging seats, three-zone independent climate control, and an L2-level intelligent driving assistance system, offering a luxurious and comfortable driving experience.
