The first model built on the Guiyuan S platform – WEY V9X: new teaser images released, set to make its debut soon.

Recently, WEY officially unveiled the latest teaser images of its all-new SUV, the V9X. As the inaugural model underpinned by the Guiyuan S platform, it's positioned as an AI Luxury Six-Seat Flagship SUV. According to sources, the new model is expected to make its world debut in the near future.

From the teaser images, the front fascia of the V9X features a full-width ring light strip with a dynamic welcome lighting sequence, paired with an illuminated brand logo that delivers a striking visual effect when lit. In addition, the intelligent driving blue indicator lights and turn signals are integrated into both sides of the front lower bumper, hinting at the vehicle being equipped with a high-level driving assistance system.

The side profile boasts a sleek and elongated body with a smooth, flowing shoulder line, endowing the new model with a commanding presence. At the rear, a full-width taillight assembly is fitted with elliptical-shaped lamp clusters on both sides, and an intelligent driving blue indicator light is integrated in the center.

Combined with previous reports, the V9X is expected to be powered by a plug-in hybrid system featuring a 2.0T turbocharged engine. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds when fully charged and 4.7 seconds in charge-depleting mode. What’s more, the new model will likely be built on an 800V hybrid architecture and equipped with a hybrid 6C battery pack, enabling an all-electric range of over 400 km and a 200 km range boost with just 5 minutes of charging.

The V9X is also set to come with the ASL Intelligent Agent and VLA Large Model, and air suspension is confirmed to be part of the equipment list from the teaser details. We will keep following up with more updates on the new model.
