
2025 Shanghai Auto Show: Chang'an Hunter K50 officially launched, starting at $25,387.87

On April 24, the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show officially kicked off, and Chang'an Hunter K50, a pickup truck model under the Chang'an brand, debuted. The new car launched with two configuration models, featuring a avant-garde and sharp design, and boasts a towing capacity of 2.5 tons.
In terms of appearance, the new car boasts a powerful and imposing look, featuring a boundary-free style grille and the Chang'an Qiyuan brand logo. Viewed from the side, the new car adopts a double-cab design. Additionally, the new car is equipped with various styles of roll cages, wheel rims, and other component designs.
Regarding the rear design, the cargo box also supports segmented opening, and the display vehicle is equipped with a cargo box cover. Additionally, there are roll cages on both sides of the cargo box. Furthermore, the rear bumper at the lower part of the tail is equipped with a trailer square opening, which has the legal towing qualification for road use.
The interior of the new vehicle adopts a black-and-brown color scheme, with an overall layout that remains largely consistent with the Chang'an Landscape model. It features a dual-screen combination of a liquid crystal instrument cluster and a central control screen, along with dual handholds on the auxiliary console.
According to official sources, the vehicle supports remote OTA upgrades and is equipped with L2-level assisted driving technology. Furthermore, it utilizes a non-load-bearing integrated frame with a rear tow bar design, enabling a 2.5-ton towing capacity. The vehicle also includes a high-power 3.3kW cargo bed power outlet panel with a 220V plug, offering a reserve battery capacity of 227 kWh—sufficient to power 2000W appliances for up to 100 hours continuously.
