6-seater version to be launched this autumn! Declaration information of Tesla Model Y L released

Recently, we saw the declaration information for the Tesla Model Y L vehicle type on the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology website. The most notable feature of this vehicle is that it is a 6-seat version. The official stated that it will be launched this autumn. It is worth mentioning that currently, all the Tesla Model Y models on sale are 5-seat versions.

The front face design of the new car remains consistent with that of the current model. As a 6-seat version, the vehicle dimensions of this car are 4,976/1,920/1,668 mm, respectively, and the wheelbase is 3,040 mm. Compared with the dimensions of the current 5-seat version, the length, width, and height are 4797/1920/1624mm, respectively, and the wheelbase is 2890mm. It can be seen that the Tesla Model Y L has improvements in vehicle length, vehicle height, and wheelbase.

The side styling is quite different. Due to the increased vehicle length, the Tesla Model Y L looks more slender. Meanwhile, the shape of the triangular window on the side of the vehicle differs from that of currently sold models and extends rearward. The waistline on the side of the vehicle is also designed to slope slightly upward. The biggest change at the rear is the logo of the Tesla Model Y, which is used to highlight the different identities. The new car will be available with 19-inch wheels. In terms of power, the currently declared model uses dual motors, with the maximum power of the front and rear motors being 142 kW and 198 kW, respectively.
