Recently, the new Volkswagen Touareg 2.0TSI Ruiying Edition was launched, priced at 558,800 yuan（Approximately USD 78,789）. This new model is positioned as a mid-to-large-sized SUV and has undergone upgrades in both appearance and configuration compared to the current model. It is equipped with the upgraded Innovision Cockpit digital cockpit system.

In terms of appearance, the new model features a widened front grille and air intakes, complemented by additional through-type chrome trim strips. It is equipped with an R-Line sport appearance package, including an R-style bumper and body-colored cladding, further enhanced by 19-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels, adding to its sporty aesthetic. The new car is fitted with matrix LED headlights, offering functionalities such as adverse weather lighting, approach and exit illumination, cornering lights, and "Follow Me Home" lighting. Additionally, the vehicle is the first to feature illuminated front and rear badges. The rear of the car showcases a newly styled LED taillight, also equipped with approach and exit illumination, although images have not been released.

In terms of the interior, the Innovision Cockpit digital cockpit has been upgraded, featuring a 15.05-inch color touchscreen with more comprehensive content modules and a smoother operating experience. The system supports OTA online map updates. The new model is equipped with a 12-inch customizable full-LCD instrument cluster and HUD head-up display, which can synchronously present driving information. It also comes with "Volkswagen Car-Net" (translated as "Zhongxingjia" in Chinese context but using the more internationally recognized name here for clarity) connected vehicle services, providing online services such as remote vehicle diagnostics. The smartphone mirroring function allows seamless integration between the phone and the vehicle's infotainment system, enabling synchronized content display. The newly added Asterix in-car entertainment system also integrates a wealth of online applications, further enhancing the entertainment experience.

In terms of powertrain, the new model is equipped with a 2.0T four-cylinder engine, delivering a maximum output power of 195 kilowatts and a peak torque of 370 Newton-meters. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds. The transmission system is paired with an 8-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission and the 4MOTION all-wheel-drive system.
