At the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show, three Changan models equipped with the new BlueCore 500Bar engine started delivery.

 On April 23, the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show officially kicked off. At Changan's brand booth, the Changan Gravity series held the Smart New BlueCore 500Bar and Changan Automobile Classic Models Refresh Conference. It was announced that three classic models under the brand - Eado, CS55PLUS, and UNI - V - have been fully refreshed with the new BlueCore 500Bar engine. So far, four models under Changan Gravity, including CS75PLUS, CS55PLUS, Eado, and UNI - V, are all equipped with this ultra - high - pressure direct - injection engine. It is worth mentioning that at the conference site, the official vehicle delivery was officially launched.

According to Yuan Zhixiong, Deputy General Manager of Changan Brand Business Department and General Manager of Gravity Marketing Department: "Empowered by Changan Automobile's Smart New BlueCore 3.0, the Gravity series will fully enter an era of diversified powertrains in 2025, with continuous launches of ICE, PHEV, HEV and other powertrain models in the future." At the same time, based on core technologies such as the engine built with Smart New BlueCore 3.0, P13-structured hybrid electric drive platform, and Golden Bell Cover 3C ultra-fast charging battery 2.0, the Changan Gravity series provides users with full-domain powertrain solutions. In the new energy market, it has launched multiple PHEV products such as UNI-Z, the third-generation CS55PLUS, and the third-generation Eado.

Compared with the current mainstream 350Bar turbocharged engines in the market, the 500Bar ultra-high pressure direct injection New BlueCore engine newly released at this auto show by Changan Automobile has a cylinder direct injection pressure that is **42.86% higher**. Under such high in-cylinder pressure, the fuel spray particle size of the engine is as low as **6.3 microns**. Smaller fuel spray particles can fully mix with air, making the engine burn more fully and efficiently, achieving more powerful power output with less fuel consumption. At the same time, it also improves the level of original emissions, making it cleaner and more environmentally friendly, and can directly meet the **National VII emission standards**. In addition, with the 500Bar ultra-high pressure direct injection technology as the core, Changan Automobile has also applied more than ten technologies such as **electronically controlled turbochargers**, **lifetime maintenance-free silent timing chain systems**, **active noise reduction**, and **idle start-stop optimization**. These technologies reduce the tendency of in-cylinder knock, minimize the impact load on components such as pistons and connecting rods, and control engine idle noise from the source.
