Haval H9 Off-Road Edition with 800mm Water Wading Depth to Launch on December 11th

On December 9th, we learned from Great Wall Motors officially that its mid-to-large SUV, the Haval H9 Off-Road Edition, will be officially launched on December 11th. As a new version model, its overall design remains consistent with the current model, with only upgrades to configurations—for instance, the water wading depth reaches 800mm, and it comes standard with 9 driving modes and three differential locks.

In terms of exterior design, as a new version, it generally adopts the thematic design of the current model and is equipped with a new gray paint finish, endowing it with a good sense of fashion. For configurations, the vehicle will be fitted with newly styled wheels, AT tires, a roof platform, and front spotlights. Moreover, its 800mm water wading depth greatly enhances the off-road performance of this SUV.

Inside the cabin, the vehicle features a relatively straight center console line, with chrome elements added to many details for embellishment. Paired with a three-spoke multifunctional steering wheel, a 14.6-inch central control screen, and a uniquely shaped gear shifter, it achieves a pleasant sense of fashion. Meanwhile, it will also be equipped with seat heating/ventilation functions and the "Tank Turn" feature.

For the powertrain, as a new version model, it is expected to retain the powertrain of the current model, offering two options: a 2.0T gasoline engine and a 2.4T diesel engine. Among them, the 2.0T turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine has a maximum power of 165kW and a maximum torque of 385N·m. The transmission system is matched with an 8-speed automatic manual transmission, and it comes standard with the BorgWarner TOD on-demand four-wheel drive system, along with front and rear axle electronic limited-slip differential locks. The 2.4T diesel engine delivers a maximum power of 137kW and a peak torque of 490N·m, paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission and equipped with a standard silicon oil fan.
