More official images of the AITO V9 released, equipped with swivel aviation seats – set for imminent launch/ spring release

Recently, the official side released more official images of the AITO V9 (Specs | Inquiry). The new car is scheduled for an official launch in spring and is expected to make its debut very soon. According to previous reports, the model aims to reshape the landscape of the 500,000-yuan class MPV market and will be fitted with Huawei's Snowy Owl extended-range system, boasting a CLTC combined cruising range of over 1,250 km.

The newly released official images show the vehicle with its rear doors open, revealing extensive chrome trims across the body and multi-spoke rims that exude a premium feel. The pillars are equipped with upper and lower armrests for easy entry for the elderly and children. The second row features large leg rests, and a disc-shaped fastener is visible under the seat cushion, confirming the earlier news that the car will come with 180° swivel second-row seats.

In addition, the new car will be offered with a welcome light carpet, on-board oxygen bar and the latest HarmonyOS cockpit, and its airbag count will also surpass that of its segment peers.

Looking back at its exterior design, the AITO V9 inherits the iconic design language, and will debut the new-generation DLP projection headlamps + dynamic welcome light carpet combination, supporting custom welcome light messages. It will also be equipped with the new-generation assisted driving hardware of Huawei's ADS 3.0 (Ascend Intelligent Driving). The rear end adopts a star diamond through-type taillight cluster, paired with extensive chrome trims and multi-spoke rims for a premium aesthetic.

In terms of dimensions, the new car measures 5,359 mm in length, 2,009 mm in width and 1,879 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,250 mm.

For the powertrain, the vehicle is equipped with Huawei's Snowy Owl intelligent extended-range system, which consists of a 1.5T engine (model: SQRH4J15) produced by Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. The range extender has a maximum power of 115 kW, and the CLTC combined cruising range can reach up to 1,250 km and above.
