The Wuling Starlight 730, set to hit the market in the fourth quarter of this year, made its debut at the Indonesia International Auto Show!

On July 23rd, Wuling's all-new MPV model - Cortez DARION (also known as Starlight 730) made its world premiere at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS). Developed on an all-new new energy architecture, it fully adopts the "Tian·Ling·Shen" series of technologies. According to previous information, the Wuling Starlight 730 will be available in pure electric and fuel-powered versions. The pure electric version is built on the Tianyu Architecture, featuring the Lingxi Power system and Shenlian Battery. The new model is scheduled to go on the market in the fourth quarter of this year.

The fuel version of the new car features a "big mouth" grille design, while the pure electric model retains only the lower grille. The LED daytime running lights on both sides adopt a double-layer horizontal bar shape, which is highly recognizable. There are air guide grooves designed on both sides of the front bumper.

In terms of power, the fuel-powered version is equipped with a 1.5T engine with a maximum power of 130kW; the plug-in hybrid version will feature a combination of a 1.5L engine and an electric motor, where the engine has a maximum power of 78kW; the pure electric version comes with an electric motor with a maximum power of 100kW. All energy storage devices adopt lithium iron phosphate batteries. We will continue to follow up and report more information about the new car.

Previously, information about the battery and range of the Wuling Starlight 730 was revealed. It is equipped with 54.5/60kWh batteries, with a CLTC pure electric range of 450/500km. The total mass of the power battery is 384/424kg, and the curb weight of the whole vehicle is 1760/1810kg.
