Geely Galaxy Xingyao 6: Official Details on Exterior, Interior, Dimensions and Power System

On September 5th, we obtained the official interior images of the Galaxy Xingyao 6, a mid-size sedan under Geely Galaxy, from the brand's official channel. The new model had completed the declaration with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) earlier, and is set to make its debut this evening. Below is a comprehensive overview of the vehicle based on official information.

In terms of exterior design, the Geely Galaxy Xingyao 6 inherits the "Ripple Aesthetics" design language of the Galaxy series. The shield-shaped front grille is accented with vertical waterfall-style chrome trim strips inside, and when matched with the multiple raised ribs on the front hood, it endows the vehicle with a distinct sporty vibe. Notably, the aggressively styled air intakes on both sides of the front bumper and the slightly shovel-shaped front lip make the overall vehicle more in line with its sporty positioning. Viewed from the side of the body, the vehicle features a waistline that runs straight from the front headlight eyebrows to the taillights; combined with the rich line design on the door panels, this gives the overall side profile a very sleek and stretched appearance. At the rear, it adopts a through-type taillight cluster, and the light cavity structures on both sides are relatively intricate, which further enhances the vehicle's recognition. Notably, the official side has also added a diffuser and chrome trim strips to its rear end. Meanwhile, judging from the images released by the official side, the vehicle does not adopt a panoramic sunroof, but instead features an openable sunroof design.

In terms of the interior, the vehicle adopts the family-style design language of Geely Galaxy. It features a flat-bottomed two-spoke multifunctional steering wheel, paired with a built-in narrow-strip LCD instrument cluster and a large-sized floating central control screen, endowing it with a strong sense of technology. Meanwhile, it adopts a color scheme of dark upper and light lower, and the rounded rectangular air conditioning vents are adorned with chrome trim strips, which enhances the vehicle's sense of sophistication. For the rear row, the seats are equipped with a textured pattern design, and when combined with the wood grain trim panels on the door panels, this enhances the vehicle's sense of premium quality to a certain extent.

In terms of dimensions, its length, width, and height are 4806/1886/1490mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2756mm, which provides a comfortable interior space for passengers. For power, based on the declared 1.5L engine, the vehicle will be equipped with the all-new generation Leishen EM-i super hybrid system (also referred to as Leishen AI Hybrid 2.0 technology in official communications), featuring a maximum power of 82 kW. To further enhance its environmental friendliness and daily commuting convenience, the Geely Galaxy Xingyao 6 will come with a large-capacity 17kWh battery pack, enabling an all-electric range (AER) of up to 125 kilometers. This range is sufficient to meet most daily urban travel needs, allowing users to rely on electric power for short trips and switch to hybrid mode for long-distance journeys.
