Recently, Nissan released official images of the new X-Trail. This is likely to be the final facelift before the launch of the next-generation model. The facelifted model features minor upgrades to its exterior and interior. The new car will go on sale overseas on September 18th, with the AUTECH series starting sales from October 1st and the ROCK CREEK series from late November. In Japan, the new model is priced between 3,843,400 yen and 5,901,500 yen, which is approximately 187,000 to 287,300 yuan.
In terms of exterior design, the new X-Trail continues the design concept of the current model with upgrades in details. First of all, the new car is equipped with an all-new grille, which is more three-dimensional. It still adopts a split headlight setup, but the air intakes on both sides of the lower light group have been further enlarged, and the decoration of the lower air intake has also been optimized. The new car also offers 19-inch rims.
The new X-Trail will be available in three exterior styles: standard, AUTECH, and ROCK CREEK. The standard version adopts a blackened design style; the AUTECH version looks more elegant with the addition of many chrome-plated decorations; while the ROCK CREEK version features a more crossover design style, giving it an overall more off-road temperament.
In terms of the interior, the color scheme has been refreshed, giving the overall design a more understated and sophisticated look, while the interior layout continues the design of the current model. The NissanConnect infotainment system has been upgraded to include Google Maps, allowing users to download apps from the Google Play Store. Additionally, the new car supports both CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. It also enables remote control functions such as adjusting the air conditioning and locking the vehicle.
The central control system has been enhanced with a panoramic imaging system and a transparent chassis feature, and it also provides a front-view camera display for narrow road conditions.
