Changan's official 2021 report lists 118 kW, 260 Nm and a seven-speed wet dual-clutch transmission for the 2021 Eado PLUS reference. Our 2022 and 2023 listings state the same core engine/gearbox family, but their VINs and software versions still control. Test low-speed take-up, hot shifts, turbo boost and coolant behavior.

What official Changan records add to the decision

A proven compact-sedan name

Changan's 2023 half-year report says Eado PLUS ranked first among Chinese-brand compact gasoline sedans for three consecutive months in the first half of 2023. That supports model recognition in China, but export parts and resale still depend on the destination.

The 1.4T reference

Changan's 2021 annual report lists the 2021 Eado PLUS Blue Whale NE 1.4T at 118 kW and 260 Nm with a seven-speed wet DCT, plus an official 5.6 L/100 km figure. Use those as a year-specific brochure reference, not a guaranteed real-world result for every used unit.

Earlier tuning was not identical

Changan's 2020 annual report lists the launch Eado PLUS 1.4T at 116 kW, 260 Nm and 5.9 L/100 km. The change from 116 to 118 kW shows why a seller should not copy one model-year specification across the entire Eado PLUS family.

Technical documents exist

Changan's public repair-information system lists Eado PLUS powertrain and electrical documents, including NE14TG material and newer 7DCT manuals. Document availability is useful, but buyers must still confirm whether their local workshop can access compatible diagnostic tools, language support and parts.
